The project

Designed to withstand harsh Quebec winters, the Laval Sports Center showcases the performance and reliability of Mathis’s structural system.

Its 90-meter glue-laminated frame supports exceptional snow loads of up to 250 kg/m², ensuring long-term stability and durability.

Every joint was meticulously engineered and executed to maintain structural strength and balance for extreme thermal variations and load constraints.

An architecture of strength and precision, true to Mathis’s uncompromising standards.

Wood has crafted our story.

It gives form, ignites the imagination, and uncovers meaning. With Mathis, wood takes on a language of its own.
